About
Andreas Clementi has worked in the field of cybersecurity since the early 1990s and is the founder and CEO of AV-Comparatives, an independent cybersecurity testing organization based in Innsbruck, Austria. His work focuses on security product testing, methodology development, and the evaluation of consumer and enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
Since founding AV-Comparatives, he has helped develop independent test programs used as reference points by security vendors, enterprises, media, and end users internationally. AV-Comparatives holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and was the first organization certified as an EICAR Trusted IT-Security Testing Lab. Clementi has also contributed to the broader research community through CARO, EICAR, and peer-reviewed security publications.
